Artist's Biography
Martin Leman studied at Worthing School of Art and the Central School of Art and Design, London. After working as a designer and illustrator, he started painting
full-time in the 1960s. Over twenty books of his cat paintings have been published. He shows regularly at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, The Mall Galleries and London’s Bankside Gallery. He became a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 2007, and an Associate of the Royal Watercolour Society in 2010.
