Artist's Biography
Born in Coventry in 1963, Nicola Slattery graduated from Coventry School of Art in 1986. Moving to Oxford she became a member of the Oxford Art Society and Oxford Printmakers. In 1996 she moved to Norfolk where she continues her successful career as a figurative artist. She has work selected for many exhibitions including those with The New English Art Club, The Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
In 2014 she won an ‘Alfred Daniels Award’ for a narrative painting at The Mall Galleries. In 2015 she was elected to the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) and in 2016 was the winner of ‘The Artist Magazine Award’. Her work is in many private and public collections including the Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Collection.
